1. What PromptForge Is
PromptForge is a local-first, browser-based visual prompt builder for AI image generation. You select curated modular cards covering render direction, subject, wardrobe, scene, camera, finish, and negative instructions, and PromptForge deterministically compiles your selections into a paste-ready text prompt. You may then choose to use that prompt with third-party AI image-generation tools of your own choosing, such as ChatGPT, Nano Banana, or similar external services.
PromptForge does not generate images itself, accept or process image uploads, call an external AI model to rewrite or generate your prompt, or offer accounts, cloud sync, or subscriptions. Restyle is a text prompt-composition mode, not an image-upload pipeline. No Service feature is gated behind a paywall, and the Service does not process payments directly.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Service is not directed to, and must not be used by, anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user does not meet this requirement, we may suspend or terminate that user's access without notice.
On your first visit, PromptForge requires you to affirmatively confirm your age eligibility and agreement to these Terms and our Privacy Policy before you can use the Builder. That confirmation is stored locally in your browser as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. License to Use the Service
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, PromptForge grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal or commercial creative purposes. This license does not permit you to copy, scrape, reproduce, redistribute, sublicense, sell, or create a competing product from the underlying prompt-card bank, coherence system, source code, or other components of the Service itself.
4. Ownership and Intellectual Property
4.1 PromptForge's Property
The Service, including its prompt-card bank, curated card text, wardrobe and category taxonomy, coherence and negative-prompt system, compiler logic, source code, design, branding, logo, and all other underlying content and technology, is the property of PromptForge and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that underlying content or technology to you.
4.2 Your Compiled Prompt Output
When you use the Builder to compile a prompt, PromptForge grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, copy, and paste that specific compiled prompt text into third-party tools and to use any resulting output for your own personal or commercial purposes, subject to Section 6. PromptForge retains underlying ownership of the curated card content and system used to compile it; this license covers your right to use the specific text string you generated, not a transfer of rights in the underlying prompt-card bank described in Section 4.1.
4.3 Feedback
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you agree that we may use them without any obligation to compensate you or attribute them to you.
5. AI Disclaimer
PromptForge is a prompt-building tool only. It does not generate, host, or control images and has no involvement in, visibility into, or responsibility for any image-generation tool, model, or platform you choose to use a compiled prompt with. We do not guarantee that any third-party AI tool will produce a particular result, that a compiled prompt will function identically across tools or model versions, or that any output will be accurate, appropriate, free of bias, or fit for a particular purpose.
Our coherence and negative-prompt system is a deterministic, rules-based content-safety feature designed to reduce certain incompatible or unintended prompt combinations. It is a design safeguard within PromptForge's compiler, not a guarantee, certification, or warranty that a compiled prompt or third-party output complies with law, these Acceptable Use rules, or a third-party tool's policies. You remain solely responsible for evaluating and complying with those requirements.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not use the Service, or any prompt compiled through it, to create, request, or attempt to generate content that:
- is illegal under applicable law in your jurisdiction;
- depicts, sexualizes, or exploits a minor, meaning anyone under 18, in any way or under any circumstance, regardless of any age-related Builder selection;
- depicts a real, identifiable person without that person's consent, including in a sexualized, defamatory, deceptive, or otherwise harmful manner;
- constitutes non-consensual intimate imagery of any real person;
- promotes hatred, harassment, or violence against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics;
- infringes any third party's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights;
- is intended to deceive, defraud, or impersonate any person or entity.
You further agree not to scrape, mine, or systematically extract the prompt-card bank or other Service content; circumvent, disable, or interfere with the coherence or negative-prompt safety system; use automated means to access the Service in a way that sends more requests than a human user could reasonably generate; or use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it.
You are solely responsible for content you generate using a compiled prompt on a third-party AI tool, that tool's terms and content policies, and applicable law. PromptForge has no visibility into, and no control over, what you do with a compiled prompt after you leave the Service.
7. Reporting Abuse and Enforcement
If you believe the Service, or content generated with a PromptForge-compiled prompt, has been used in violation of these Terms, contact us with as much detail as possible. We review reports on a reasonable-efforts basis and may take actions we consider appropriate, including restricting or terminating access, without an obligation to take a specific action or provide a specific response because the Service does not maintain accounts.

8. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may reference or link to third-party AI tools you may choose to use with a compiled prompt. PromptForge does not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for any third-party website, tool, or service, including its content, availability, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of any third-party service is solely between you and that third party.
9. No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. PROMPTFORGE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY COMPILED PROMPT OR THIRD-PARTY OUTPUT WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR COMPLY WITH A PARTICULAR LAW OR POLICY.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PROMPTFORGE AND TEAM PROMPTFORGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SERVICE, ANY COMPILED PROMPT, OR ANY THIRD-PARTY TOOL OR OUTPUT, REGARDLESS OF LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
The Service is provided free of charge and you have paid nothing to PromptForge to access it. To the extent any liability is not validly excluded under applicable law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed ten U.S. dollars (USD $10).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PromptForge, Team PromptForge, and its operators from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, connected with your use of the Service, content generated using a compiled prompt, violation of these Terms, or violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
12. Termination
Because the Service does not require accounts, termination generally means we may restrict, block, or otherwise limit your access through reasonable technical or other means if we believe you violated these Terms, without prior notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Ownership, Acceptable Use as to past conduct, No Warranty, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law, will survive.
13. Changes to the Service and These Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service and update these Terms as the Service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by an updated Last Updated date, and you may be asked to reconfirm acceptance through the versioned legal-acceptance mechanism. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable law as it is brought into force and becomes applicable, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. A specific forum or court city is not yet finalized and should be confirmed before these Terms are treated as final for public release. Nothing in this Section limits mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights under your local law.
15. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and PromptForge regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on this subject. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later.
