1. What PromptForge Does
PromptForge is a local-first, browser-based visual prompt builder for AI image generation. You choose curated modular cards covering render direction, subject, wardrobe, scene, camera, finish, and negative instructions, and PromptForge deterministically compiles your selections into a paste-ready text prompt for use with third-party AI image tools of your choice, such as ChatGPT, Nano Banana, or similar external services.
PromptForge does not generate images; accept, upload, inspect, or transmit reference images; call an external AI model or prompt-rewriting service; offer accounts, authentication, cloud sync, or subscriptions; run advertising; process payments directly; or place features behind a paywall. Restyle is a prompt-composition mode, not an image-upload pipeline. PromptForge does include optional analytics that is off by default and described in Section 7.
2. Current Data Model - What We Do and Do Not Collect
PromptForge operates primarily in your browser. It does not send your prompts, card selections, prompt history, full anonymous UUID, or uploaded images to a PromptForge server. There are no PromptForge accounts, general backend persistence, advertising tags, embedded payment processors, or cookies set directly by PromptForge.
Information connected with use of the Site is limited to browser-local information described in Section 3; standard technical requests inherently processed to serve the Site, described in Section 6; optional Share Feedback information described in Section 8; and optional privacy-safe analytics information described in Section 7 when you explicitly opt in. We do not otherwise collect information such as your name, physical address, or account credentials through ordinary use.
3. Information Stored in Your Browser
The Site uses local storage for the following information on your device. None of it is transmitted to PromptForge:
- Prompt history: up to ten recent generated prompts, including generated text, mode, selection snapshot, and timestamp, so you can reuse a recent prompt.
- Anonymous browser identifier: a random version-4 UUID scoped to your browser. Settings displays and copies only a shortened public form such as pf_XXXXXXXX; the full UUID is never displayed or copied.
- Legal acceptance record: a versioned date and time record confirming age eligibility and agreement to the Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, and AI Disclaimer. It is separate from analytics consent and is not linked to the anonymous identifier.
- Analytics consent preference: a granted or denied value for the Settings analytics toggle. It defaults to denied when missing, malformed, inaccessible, or unreadable.
These values remain only in that browser profile. Clearing Site data removes prompt history, legal acceptance, analytics consent, and anonymous identity together because they share one storage origin. A different browser or device creates unrelated local state and defaults analytics to denied.
4. First-Visit Legal Acceptance
The first time you use the Builder, PromptForge asks you to confirm age eligibility and agreement to the Terms and Conditions, Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, and AI Disclaimer. The acceptance and its version are stored locally. Returning visits with valid current acceptance in the same browser proceed directly to the Builder.
5. Clipboard Access
PromptForge writes text to your clipboard only when you activate a Copy action, such as copying a generated prompt, history item, or shortened AUID. PromptForge never reads or monitors your clipboard.
6. Automatically Collected Technical Information
Every website inherently passes standard request information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps, through servers, hosting providers, or content-delivery infrastructure used to serve the Site. This is ordinary internet communication rather than information PromptForge separately collects, links to an identity, or actively analyzes. Depending on your jurisdiction, it may be considered personal information or personal data.
8. Feedback Submissions
Settings includes an optional anonymous Share Feedback feature. If you submit feedback, PromptForge sends the category, subject, and message you enter, your shortened public AUID, and limited bounded support context such as the relevant Site route from your browser to a validated PromptForge server route. The submission is emailed to the support mailbox through Hostinger SMTP.
This is the only current feature that sends information from your browser to a server operated by PromptForge. Feedback does not include your full UUID, prompt history, specific card selections, or compiled prompt text. Submission is optional and is not required to use the Builder.
Feedback is used only to review, respond to, and improve the Site and retained only as long as reasonably necessary. Because submissions are anonymous and not linked to accounts, locating or deleting a particular past submission may be limited. A removal request should include available details such as approximate date, category, and subject.
9. Managing Your Local Data
You can clear prompt history within PromptForge and remove all browser-local Site data through your browser controls. Clearing data, switching browsers, using private browsing, or changing devices does not carry history or identity over and may create a new identifier and repeat first-visit legal acceptance.
10. Data Sharing and Retention
PromptForge does not sell, rent, or trade information or share browser-local prompt history, legal acceptance, or the anonymous browser identifier. Hosting providers process technical request information only as needed to operate and secure the Site and retain it under their own practices.
Feedback content is shared with Hostinger SMTP solely to deliver it to the support mailbox. If you grant analytics consent, approved page-view and event information is shared with Google as analytics processor under Google's retention practices. No other third party receives information through the Site. Browser-local information remains on your device until you or your browser removes it or storage becomes unavailable.
11. Third-Party AI Tools, Links, and Service Providers
PromptForge builds text prompts for use with third-party AI image tools of your choosing, such as ChatGPT or Nano Banana. PromptForge does not control or accept responsibility for their privacy practices, data handling, or content. Review a third party's privacy policy before submitting prompts or other information.
PromptForge uses Hostinger SMTP to deliver feedback to the support mailbox and, only after analytics consent, Google Analytics to process approved page views and events, subject to each provider's privacy practices.
12. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to or intended for children under 13, and first-visit legal acceptance requires confirmation of age eligibility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If this occurs, we will take reasonable steps to address it. Parents or guardians with concerns should contact us.
13. Your Privacy Rights
13.1 California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
This public Policy identifies the categories of information connected with Site use and how they are handled. Because most information remains in your browser and is not accessible to PromptForge, you can review, export, or delete it directly through your browser as described in Section 9. You may contact us with questions.
13.2 European Users - GDPR
Users in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority regarding technical request or analytics information. Browser-local information is most directly accessed or erased through your browser.
Limited technical information is processed under our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Optional analytics is processed with consent under Article 6(1)(a), which may be withdrawn in Settings without affecting prior lawful processing. For transfers outside the EEA, we rely on safeguards implemented by Google as analytics processor.
13.3 California Residents - CCPA
California residents may have rights to know what personal information was collected, used, or disclosed; request deletion or correction; and receive non-discriminatory treatment. PromptForge does not sell or share personal information. Because there are no accounts and little information is held outside your browser, most requests can be addressed through browser controls or by contacting us.
13.4 Other Jurisdictions
Users elsewhere may have rights under local data-protection law. We will honor legitimate, verifiable requests consistent with applicable law to the extent reasonably actionable given the limited data described in this Policy.

14. Data Security
We rely on reasonable technical and organizational measures, including those provided by hosting and infrastructure providers, to protect the Site and operational information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No internet transmission or browser-storage method is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed. You use the Site and manage browser-local data at your own risk.
15. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable data-protection requirements as they are brought into force, without limiting mandatory consumer or privacy rights under your own local law. A specific forum or court city is not finalized and should be confirmed before the public legal documents are treated as final.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as PromptForge or legal requirements change, including before enabling advertising, image uploads, accounts, in-product payments, or analytics beyond the approved privacy-safe registry. Material revisions will update the Last Updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
